Willowfrost smiled as she woke up from a well deserved rest The young queen scanned the nursery for kits "Good morning little ones" She purred softly

Lilykit was barely two days old. Not old enough to have her own nest, she was curled up securely in her mother's nest. Her eyes were not open, and she still couldn't speak. She had never let out even the slightest mewl.

Willowfrost purred at the sight of one of her kittens She huddled closer to the small scrap trying to keep her warm Willow knew the kit was barely old enough to talk She curled her tail around the kit

The small kit let out a feeble purr, etching closer to her mother. She looked like a tiny version of her mother. The small kitten had never opened her eyes before, so no one knew her eye-color, although it was one of the only differences between her and her mother.
