Dapplestar took steps up the high tree where she announced news and ceremonies
She had a worried look on her face as she looked down at the camp
"All cats old enough to climb trees gather under the tall tree to hear my news"
The she-cat called out
"Something terrible is coming"
She yowled
Dapplestar had never looked more worried before
The young leader looked at her clanmates
"We must prepare for this unknown danger" |

Icebreeze leaned against the tree, her back paws on the ground, and her front paws scraping the bark of the massive oak. "May I speak?" the white she-cat asked the dappled leader.

Dapplestar looked at her medicine cat and nodded
"Icebreeze has something to say!"

Icebreeze nodded, leaping onto the branch beside Dapplestar. "Queens! Be careful of your kits! Warriors! Reinforce the nursery! Something, I don't know what, is trying to get at them! Herbs will be a different thing for me. But I have moons to come. I don't need an apprentice. But extra paws will be appreciated at any time. Leaf-bare is thawing into new-leaf, but I'm afraid I might even need more than that." she half-yowled, never being loud anyway.

Did they receive the prophecy as well? If not than it's an obvious sign that one of them has, quite possibly, sunk so low as to snatch away our young to increase their own numbers. SmokeClan, for example! Would it be so surprising? Perhaps even GaleClan!" The tom grew more animated as he began to speak, his pupils narrowed as he snarled those names. Icebreeze inwardly winced at the thought of GaleClan stealing their kits. Breezestar may not have been the friendliest, but all the same, she couldn't help but feel a little scared for her kin.
Trying to hide her emotions, she nodded.

She agreed with her mate that the clans might have been causing trouble but she did not want another fight. "I know many of you think that this is the time to blame other clans. But we must not risk a battle." Dapplestar yowled. She turned to Icebreeze "Will you ask the other medicine cats if they had any signs?" |

"Icebreeze nodded once again, happy to get off the blaming subject. "Of course, but I won't pressure them. These are my friends, and If they don't want to say something, I won't make them." she meowed.
