The dark void cats, the evil spirits haunting the clans, is among them again. The cats must eventually fight them all off, with the help of the good spirits, the FlightClan cats. Some living cats, mostly rogues but a few Clan cats, supported the Dark Void.
Meanwhile, the Dark Void has aligned with a strong group of ancestors of evil cats called the 'Raven Bloods'. They are as bad as the Dark Forest, hundreds upon thousands of them. They rarely fade. Merciless cats, they will swipe at you in an instant. They kill each other as hobbies, some rising above others in victory, some with no cat ever to challenge their skills, other than the prideful, the dumb, or the fierce.
The Raven Bloods, every ten-thousand years, can send a plague sweeping across lands. They had never enough power, though, to create one so powerful to do much damage to the clans, being that they were a totally separate force. But aligning with the Dark Void, these cats have gained power enough to almost completely wipe the clans away.
The meaning to this all is that tiny needles are scattered about on the clans' territories. They leak black goo, and it gets into cats' bodies. Every new moon, another cat in the clans fall victim to it. It is very dangerous, and will lead to great suffering to the cat who is in its grasp. Almost nothing can stop its rampage. No one can hide from it. Even if the victim stays in their den all day, it will somehow appear and get in.
