"It was about kits but not about our lost kitten
The kits was yowling with terror they were being carried by awful black shadowy things"
She explained
"I'm expecting kits right now and I hope that nightmare was not about them" |

" Listen to me," he said His voice was still a low murmur, but it had deepened considerably. His expression had become positively stormy, hinting toward the fury that resided within him. " I like the idea, Dapplestar," he purred. Pleased by his mate's consideration, he gently butted his head against hers, moving to intertwine her tail with his bushy one. " I remember when we were just kits," he said. " Of course, I wasn't all that nice to you when we were young. But you know the story. I picked on you 'cause I liked you, ya know? What did I use to call you? 'Mouse-brained'? 'Scaredy-mouse'? I was terrible, huh?" He had an amused gleam in his eye, his teeth flashing playfully. [ Dapplestar ]
